Wildlife Art

Wildlife Art has no doubt the largest audience. It speaks to all ages. We humans have an unbounded if not mysterious fascination with Wildlife. The animal world is a vacation to human thought. They give us an earthly reprieve from the rigors of living in a fast paced society. It is why so many of us choose to vacation in places that provide us with natural splendor.

We obtain facsimiles of wildlife to place in our homes where we can be reminded of our individual favorites. Or is it because they, the facsimiles, provide us with a window for our mind, to escape, even for a few brief seconds, to a place of peace and tranquility. When executing a wildlife sculpture I pride myself in doing extensive study of the animals anatomy and habitat. I strive to capture them with impeccable form and scene of movement, thus bring them to life.

Stump Sculptures

People love their trees. When they die, instead of having them cut completely down they can leave a stump and I give them new life, Totem poles, wood spirits, bears and other wildlife are some of the many creations. My studio is conveniently located in the town of Queensbury which is only 5 minutes from Lake George in the southern Adirondacks, I traveled nationally and internationally for commissions.
